UP-MINI10 is designed to illuminate stairs in high-traffic areas, such as industrial facilities or public buildings like theatres, cinemas, restaurants, clubs, hotels, and staircases in multi-family housing. Stair profiles with LED lighting effectively light up stair steps while enhancing the ambience of the location. The grooved surface of the stair profile offers anti-slip properties, ensuring user safety.
The profile's construction, combined with a compatible slide-in A diffuser (opal), creates a seamless and continuous light line without visible LED dots, replicating the appearance of classic neon lighting.
Stair profiles can be easily tailored to fit step dimensions by cutting them to size. A standard metal saw or a specialized aluminium saw is suitable for this task.
Installation of the profile can be carried out using screws or mounting adhesive. Before attaching the LED tape to the aluminium profile, it is essential to degrease the surface thoroughly to reduce the risk of the tape peeling off the profile.
Beyond its aesthetic function, the profile acts as a heat sink, extending the lifespan of the LED tape by preventing overheating. The compatible diffuser and end caps protect the LED tape from dirt and mechanical damage.
